Welcome Post

Pali Edible Gardeners is a blog about what food the residents of Pacific Palisades are growing. It's created by Marie Steckmest of Palisades Cares and linked to the Google Group of the same name. Members can share what they are growing, their successes and challenges, offer to share extra food and share recipes. We'll have quarterly potlucks. Members are requested to grow organically.

What am I growing this summer? I'm growing the following: twelve varieties of tomatoes, three varieties of beans, swiss chard, two types of zucchini, broccoli (still), melon (hopefully), pumpkins, corn, lemon cucumbers and Japanese cucumbers, peppers, lettuce, arugula, spinach,
strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, figs, peaches, lemons and several different types of herbs.

What are you growing?

The first pumpkin! (a bit early)!
